Quick Swirl: Snoqualmie Sauvignon Blanc 2003 (PB)
Get ready for another super value and must find—This is a pretty and crisp straw colored wine that almost shimmers in the glass. There are loads of fresh cut apples, peaches and pears in the bouquet which is positively refreshing and tantalizing. In the mouth there is plenty of mouth watering fruit with a touch of steely intrigue. This has a fine acid base making it great for food pairing, cleansing the palate of the greasiest food (fried chicken). This Washington State treat is such a bargain I can hardly contain myself. It finishes with some lasting fruit and at $5.79 a bottle I am calling to order a lot more! Now raise a glass of this and find out what a wine bargain is.
