Whitehall Lane Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 wine review by (PB)
This is the wine (NW) of this blog brought for Christmas dinner. (I supplied the Margaux posted below this one.)
This Napa wine is deep garnet to the rim and needs air! The bouquet is tightly wound but will open with an hour or so of breathing.
Palate-mature, anise front and closed due to tasting on opening; numerous elements fighting to break out.
Sweet cherry flavors with black olives and rose petals. This is tasty and was a nice pairing with our rib roast. This wine will set you back about $40. Raise a glass.
