Presents with a lighter but bright crystalline garnet hue with aromas of spicy red candy apple and cherry cream.
Palate--Just "OK" first impression with definite zesty red cherry and dark berry fruit. Structure is skillful, and will drink OK.
Zinfandel is my go to grape and I have had probably 5 times more Zins than any other grape. This is priced at $17 which I would not have paid that for it, as Bogle, Scotto, and a couple other widely available Zins routinely run around $10 and they are consistently better. Having this with Pizza as Sunday ritual. Raise a glass!
