The French house rose 2005 wine review by (PB)

This Vin De Pays D’oc from the Southern France area where so many wine values are originating is a beautiful light kool-aidish cherry red with an ever so gentle sweet, strawberry,-cherry bouquet that is so fruity it’s nice just to smell.

In the mouth this wine has loads of character with a first impression of a touch of licorice and fruit. It is fairly gentle all the way around but enough fruit and body to carry the day. This is a great wine to chill down and have on the porch, patio or deck as the remnants summer sun settles on the horizon. Nothing fancy, but quaffing pleasure. $9 takes the bottle home so raise a glass!

This is a very tasty wine, and left this, not so fav of Merlot's wanting more.
