Snoqualmie Chenin Blanc 2001 wine review by (PB)

Straw colored with an odd bouquet for a Chenin; odd not meaning unpleasant but rather stupefying as to what fruit I am smelling. There seems to be a touch of guava like a Sauvignon Blanc.

It is sweet in the mouth, even too sweet. Yet it carries it off okay with a sufficient acid base to help the sweetness. This is a unique wine and honestly I can't decide if I like it or not which generally means I do not. Raise a glass of something else. (I don't remember what I paid for it but I think around $8.)
