Ravenswood Zinfandel (Old Vine) 2011 wine review by (PB)

Nice magenta hue with blackberry aroma and an over-powering presence of alcohol in the nose.

Palate--Awkward berry fruit up front, harsh, biting,and too warm. With a chill down in the fridge it improves as far as the alcohol overwhelming everything else but this Zin which runs around $10 should be passed over.
