Herman Story Santa Barbara County Grenache 2006 Wine Review (NW)

Tasting notes:

Ripe berries, herbs, and vanilla on the nose

Rich and full bodied on the palate

Currants, fig, sweet spice, and pepper on the finish

Summary:

This is a very good example of the Grenache that's being produced in California. It's a big wine with bold fruit, but it also has an herbal and peppery edge to it.

It runs around $30. Raise a glass!
