Don Miguel Gascon Malbec 2007 wine review by (PB)
Deep black cherry hue with dark berry and tart raspberry note. With a little breathing it bursts forth with smoke laced berries and a touch of cocoa.
Palate--Juicy core with some tannic liveliness and slight astringent feel. Tart berry fruit and smoke with black cherries and cola with a mineral finish.
At $11 this is one of the better Malbecs I have had. The layers are nice and a break from the ubiquitous Malbecs out there at this price point. Raise a glass!
