Wild Thing Old Vine Zinfandel 2009 wine review by (PB)

Cherry hue with aromas of spicy wild dark red berries.

Palate--Nice up front presence of cherry/berry fruit, supple tannins, zesty structure and a unsweetened, bitter baker's chocolate finish with a cherry touch.

This Mendocino Zin produced by the Shelton wine folks is tasty, friendly and a pretty nice Zinfandel. I haven't had many Zins from Mendocino, in fact I don't remember any at all. But I will remember this one and at the $20 price point it's a decent buy so raise a glass!
