Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava wine review by Billy

Nose: apple and some honey melon hints
Palate: very dry, small delicate bubbles
Finish: finish is understated with green apple being the most prominent with a nearly puckering dryness.

Overall: quite nice for an affordable dry sparkling wine. This one paired best with the Ghirardelli dark chocolate with raspberry squares.

down here in new orleans we pay between $8-$10 a bottle.... very wonderful taste and just love those little bubbles... nibble chocolate and sip the wine... while setting outside on the veranda in the court yard and talking about the wonderful times we have had ...and the hot weather we have been having here in new orleans in DECEMBER!!!!LOL
