This Cotes Du Rhone is a pretty purple and garnet with pronounced bouquet of dried cherries and nice fruit. Pepper is the first impression on the palate in a wine with sound structure. It is tight on opening so let it breathe a half hour or so.
Light raspberry comes out as well as dried cherries with a pepper note on the palate.
It is a simple wine but well made at $9 so raise a glass!
Is it true Moillard was bought and this wine is no longer available? We love this wine and want to find a way to buy a few cases. Any ideas? Thanks.
