Alaia 2004 wine review by (PB)

This Spanish red is 50% Prieto Picudo (a grape I've never heard of until now) 45% Tempranillo, and 5% Merlot. It has a distinctive bouquet of sweet cloves and cocoa with celery hints and sweet fruit.

It is a tasty and unique quaff which at $11 is a nice change of pace. Raise a glass.
